Are you technically minded and interested in learning a highly specialist skill? At ERS Limerick Ltd, we are now recruiting for suitable and motivated candidates to embark on a hands-on structured learning path to become a well-rounded Service Centre Technician and Qualified Electrical Rewinder.

Established in 1958, the ERS group provides Electrical and Mechanical services to Irish industry. Headquartered in Limerick with service centres in Waterford & Galway, we provide a fast response to maintenance problems in the Food & Beverage, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing and Municipal services sectors.

A strong aptitude / interest in mechanics, electrics or engineering.

Good written and verbal communications skills.

Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

Learning the various elements of electrical rewinding and motor overhaul.

Working with precision measuring instruments

Testing and diagnostics of motors, generators & transformers

Maintaining good record keeping and data management.

Complying with relative Health and Safety requirements in all daily activities.

Engaging in the academic online learning elements of this training
