Full job description

Lead Generation & Digital Marketing Executive

We’re looking for a Lead Generation & Digital Marketing Executive to join our marketing team and help us grow and engage our audiences across our conference brands.

This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on lead generation, LinkedIn and social media. You’ll help us find and reach new audiences, run outreach and nurture campaigns, support our paid and organic LinkedIn activity, and create engaging social content.

You’ll work closely with the wider marketing and sales team, with plenty of scope to test new ideas, learn from campaign performance and take ownership of your own areas of activity. The successful candidate will be required to travel to our conferences in Europe as part of the role, typically at least twice per year.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Nurturing

  • Develop and run lead generation campaigns to grow our database and reach new audiences.
  • Research companies, industries and audience segments for outreach.
  • Build targeted prospect lists using tools such as Cognism and LinkedIn.
  • Plan and deliver cold email outreach campaigns.
  • Develop nurture journeys to move new leads from initial engagement through to conversion.
  • Track campaign performance and suggest improvements to targeting, messaging and conversion.
  • Work closely with the wider marketing and sales team to ensure leads are appropriately followed up.

LinkedIn Strategy & Paid Activity

  • Support the ongoing development of our LinkedIn strategy across paid and organic activity.
  • Run and optimise our LinkedIn advertising campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign performance and produce regular reporting on results, learnings and recommended next steps.
  • Test different audiences, creative approaches and messaging to improve performance.
  • Research and identify new opportunities to reach relevant audiences, groups, communities and channels across the software testing and test automation space.
  • Carry out organic outreach and messaging activity to build relationships and increase awareness.

Social Media

  • Support the planning and delivery of organic social media activity across our conference brands.
  • Create engaging social copy to promote conferences, speakers, programme content, ticket offers and community activity.
  • Schedule and publish content across relevant social platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to increase engagement, reach and audience growth.
  • Support organic outreach and engagement with relevant communities, groups and individuals.
  • Monitor social performance and use results to recommend improvements to content and campaign activity.
  • Keep up to date with social media trends and identify new opportunities.

What we’re looking for

  • 2–3 years’ experience in a digital marketing, lead generation or similar marketing role.
  • Experience creating and running cold email and lead nurture campaigns.
  • Experience researching audiences and building targeted prospect lists.
  • Strong copywriting skills, particularly for email, social media and campaign messaging.

Alongside that we’re looking for

  • Experience managing organic social media content.
  • Experience using LinkedIn as a marketing and lead generation channel.
  • Confidence using performance analysis to inform decisions.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and willingness to learn and support wider marketing activity as required.

Nice to have, but not essential

  • Hands-on experience setting up or managing paid social campaigns.
  • Familiarity with prospecting tools such as Cognism.
  • Exposure to B2B tech, events or marketing to a technical audience.

What We Offer

  • Hybrid working model.
  • Opportunity to lead marketing for a well-established international brand.
  • Structured training and ongoing support.
  • Exposure to large-scale European events.
  • Gain experience across business development, sales, account management, and event delivery.
  • Work alongside an experienced and supportive European conference team.

  • Do you have the ability to work and travel freely within the European Union and Ireland?
