Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday, night shift. Term-time only (school calendar).

About Us

At Nourish+Green we prepare and distribute thousands of fresh school meals every day. This role supports that distribution operation and runs during school term only.

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable Night Shift Delivery Driver to transport school meals to preassigned locations, following HACCP guidelines, traffic laws, and company policy. This is a term-time position aligned with the school calendar, giving extended time off over the summer months.

Key Responsibilities

● Collect prepared meals from the central kitchen and deliver to designated schools on a set route and schedule.

● Maintain proper food temperature and handling throughout transport.

● Keep accurate delivery records and report any delays, vehicle issues, or food concerns promptly.

● Load and unload food containers; collect and clean empty boxes and ice packs, returning them to head office.

● Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle.

● Follow all traffic laws, HACCP guidelines, and company safety policies.

● Maintain a positive, professional manner with schools and colleagues.

Working Conditions

● Night shift work, term-time only.

● Ability to lift at least 20kg and carry food containers as needed.

● Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.

Requirements

● Valid driver's licence with a clean record; must be able to drive manual.

● At least 2 years' experience as a professional driver; food service or school nutrition delivery experience preferred.

● Strong punctuality, reliability, and communication skills.

● Able to pass a background check and any required clearances (e.g. child protection, driving history).

● Own means of transport to commute to the office.
