Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated person with office Warehouse / yard experience to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, workshop and yard storage facility.

The successful candidate will manage warehouse activities, maintain high standards of organisation and safety, and ensure efficient handling of customer and company goods and event equipment.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Manual lifting of stock and relocating of pallets and event equipment is required

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure all goods are received, stored, Loged onto inhouse stock system and dispatched accurately.

* Logging orders and creating labels for collection with DPD and other transport hubs,

* Daily pick and packing of various orders for dispatch

* Maintain stock control systems and warehouse records.

* Conduct regular inventory checks and audits.

* Ensure the warehouse is clean, organised, and operating efficiently where and when required

* Managment of company event equipment ensuring equipment is checked and fit for use.

* Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment where required.

* Liaise with customers regarding storage requirements and collections.

Requirements

* IT competent

* Previous office and warehouse experience in storage and events equipment would be preferred

* Strong organisational and leadership skills.

* Fluent written and spoken english

* Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

* Experience using inventory or warehouse management systems.

* Forklift licence desirable but not essential.

* Ability to work independently and make decisions

.* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

* Full clean driving licence

* Own transport

Additional information regarding this position.

This role will suit a person with admin experience as a first, common sense is a must, along with good physical strength and a willingness to learn.

The information above is listed to show what is required in the position; however, we are a small warehousing and events / brand activation company looking after select number of clients. The role is an all-rounder position as not every area of requirements listed is busy at all times, giving you time to work within the office and warehouse and ensure all work is completed by the end of the week As part of a team.

This is not a high-pressure environment; however, multitasking is a must. We do offer working flexibility in working hours to the right candidate once the work gets done meaning you could mix days/hours within Monday to Friday or weekends should your current life situation require this. An early start, a late finish, a half day on Monday to Friday (scheduled), and administrative completion working from home when you settle into the role are all up for discussion. The role will be your full responsibility.

This role may suit someone who has the experience and is looking for a less pressured role than they currently have. All details are to be discussed.
