We are currently recruiting for a B Licence/Driver Helper to join the Distribution Team in Cork.

Hours of Work: 45 Hours Per Week- Monday-Friday. Occasional Saturday work will be required.

Key Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out multi-drop deliveries of fresh oil and providing a collection service of used cooking oil from customer services daily.
  • Loading/unloading van, planning routes and runs and paperwork.
  • Carrying out deliveries in a van as well as assisting HGV drivers on 2 man routes.
  • Building excellent customer relationships and providing feedback of customer queries to wider Frylite Teams.
  • Stock control & invoicing.
  • Reporting of accidents, near misses, injuries, and spills. Ensuring all digital and hard copy paperwork is completed.
  • Compliance and safety: Carrying out vehicle checks ensuring your vehicle is for purpose and secure always.
  • Responsible for washing of Frylite Solutions vehicles.
  • Carry out any other duties as requested by the Distribution Manager.

Essential Criteria:

  • Valid Car Licence (B licence).
  • Good geographical knowledge of Cork area.
  • Experience carrying out multi-drop deliveries.
  • Ability to demonstrate how you can be flexible to accommodate variable start & finish times and occasional Saturday work.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Can demonstrate how you have lived Frylite Solutions’ values in previous roles (Respect, Relationships, Work Ethic, Excellence & Success).

Desirable Criteria:

  • Manual handling knowledge.
  • Ability to demonstrate evidence of customer care in a previous role.
  • Experience of using handheld invoice systems.
  • Willingness to work towards obtaining C licence.
