The Opportunity / Who We Seek

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join an award-winning marketing team in Ireland’s leading builders merchant on a full-time internship until September 2026


The Marketing Intern will support the Digital Marketing team in delivering website improvements, digital marketing initiatives, and online performance enhancements across Chadwicks Group brands. This is an excellent opportunity for a student looking to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, website management, SEO, and online content optimisation within a leading Irish organisation.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and the Digital team, contributing to projects that improve website performance, customer experience, and online visibility.


Responsibilities:


Website & Digital Support

  • Support website content updates and maintenance across Chadwicks Group websites.

  • Assist with website improvement projects, particularly around search functionality and user experience.

  • Support website testing and quality assurance activities.


SEO & Content Optimisation

  • Assist with SEO initiatives and website content updates.

  • Support keyword research and search performance reviews.

  • Help ensure website content is accurate, relevant and up to date.


Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Coordinate with internal teams regarding website updates and development requests.

  • Support communication between Marketing, IT and external development partners.

  • Assist with project administration and task tracking.


Reporting & Analysis

  • Assist with the preparation of website and digital marketing performance reports.

  • Support data gathering and analysis using Excel and Microsoft Office tools.

  • Help identify opportunities for ongoing website and digital improvements.


Requirements & Key Competencies

Essential:

  • Currently enrolled on a course studying Marketing, Business, Digital Marketing, E-Commerce, Communications, or a related discipline.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Interest in digital marketing, websites, SEO, and online customer experience.

Desirable

  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and website optimisation.

  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS).

  • Experience using Google Analytics or similar reporting tools.

  • Experience working on university projects involving digital marketing or website management.

  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels including email, social media, and paid search.
