Role Overview

Based in Galway, Electric is Ireland's largest licensed nightclub premises. We are seeking a proactive and outgoing Marketing Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic and have a flair for marketing, along with strong creative, copywriting and organisational skills.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the Marketing Plan across Events, Print, Social and Web.

  • Social media native, with a strong understanding of trends and a natural ability to engage with audiences, people and brands.
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently, with a target-driven mindset and a natural ability to engage, promote and drive results.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with flexibility around working hours.
  • Professional, highly organised and an excellent communicator, with a genuine passion for customer experience and strong interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing Research & Reporting: research competitor and best-in-class activity, identify opportunities and provide concise KPI reporting to senior management within agreed deadlines.
  • Creative Development: basic design skills are expected, with the ability to brief and liaise with internal and external designers to develop campaign creative. Keep brand communications fresh and engaging, explore new advertising opportunities, and develop seasonal promotions and events.
  • Social Media Content: ensure content is on-brand and aligned with core audiences. Guide content and messaging, maintain the digital marketing calendar, and plan and execute campaigns and requests. Comfortable in front of and behind the camera and willing to participate in content.
  • Website & App Updates: keep our website and app up to date with new products, services, events and creative content etc.
  • Targeted Digital Advertising: plan and execute digital advertising across Google, Meta, TikTok and email, managing budgets and supporting online sales, lead generation and brand awareness.
  • Events & Customer Engagement: assist with event planning, promotion and management, customer and corporate bookings and the development of window displays.

Requirements

  • Degree in Digital Marketing, Business or a related discipline, or at least 2 years’ relevant experience.
  • Strong flair for branding, marketing and digital.
  • Proficient in Canva and other design tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Eager to learn and develop new skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, social media advertising or other digital marketing platforms is an advantage.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, with hours varying depending on responsibilities and workload.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Galway, County Galway: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
