Post Summary:- The post holder will join the Santry Book Repository team and play a central role in the circulation of materials from the Santry Repository to the Library’s reading rooms. There will also be opportunities to participate in collection management activities and stock relocation projects. This position offers great scope for an individual to develop a wide range of library and other information-related skills and to support the development of new services in response to the teaching, learning and research needs of the Trinity community.
Post status: Specific Purpose Contract
This appointment is for the specific purpose of covering a staff member who is working reduced hours. Employment is not offered on an indefinite duration basis as the original postholder is expected to return to full-time hours. If the substantive postholder does not return to the role, any ongoing staffing requirement will be considered and filled through the appropriate recruitment process
Hours of Post: Part-Time (0.4 FTE)
Salary: This appointment will be made on the pro-rata Library Assistant Merged Salary Scale (€29,690- €46,272 per annum, pro-rata) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
