Full job description

Who We Are

At Golden Bake, we play as one team. Based in Coolock, Dublin 17, we’re a proudly Irish-owned food manufacturer producing delicious ready-to-bake products for customers across Ireland, the UK, Europe, and beyond.

Since 1987, our team has grown to over 130 employees, operating from a 100,000 sq ft facility—including a brand new, state-of-the-art production space—with the capability to produce up to 50,000 products per hour.

Every player in our team—from production to support—has a role in delivering excellence. Our values shape how we work, how we treat each other, and how we grow together. No egos, no passengers — just one committed and united team.

For four years in a row, we’re proud to be recognised as a Great Place To Work certified company — a recognition we’ve earned thanks to the trust, pride, and supportive culture shared across our team. It reflects our commitment to creating a workplace where people feel valued, supported, and empowered to grow.

What We Need Help With

We’re hiring our first full-time Procurement & Supplier Relationship Manager to join our Supply Chain function. This is a strategic hire with real scope to shape how procurement operates across the business—from supplier selection to cost optimisation and category strategy.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a commercially astute and proactive procurement professional with experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, or food retail supply chains. You’ll be comfortable managing supplier relationships, negotiating commercial terms, and implementing procurement strategies that balance cost, quality, and service.

The Role

· Lead the procurement function within the Supply Chain team while working closely along side the New Product Development team

· Manage ingredient, packaging, and utility tenders and annual price negotiations

· Source new suppliers in line with production line expansion and NPD/commercial team needs

· Implement supplier KPIs, category strategies, and procurement systems

· Conduct supplier audits and ensure compliance with food sector standards

· Optimise costs without compromising quality or supplier relationships

· Analyse spend data and support data-led decision-making

· Reporting into the Supply Chain Director while working closely with the Product Development Manager

· Travel from time to time within Ireland and the UK

Requirements

· Significant experience in procurement, ideally within FMCG/food manufacturing/food retail supply chain

· Proven success managing supplier relationships and negotiating commercial terms

· Comfortable negotiating with suppliers across Ireland and the UK

· Exposure to category management

· Experience in cost optimisation and supplier audits

· Experience in commodity purchasing a benefit

· Commercially astute with strong analytical skills

· Excellent communicator across internal and external stakeholders

· Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced SME environment

· Third level qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Business preferred
