Job: Data Center Operative

Location: West Dublin

Type: Contract

Length: 6 Months

Salary: 30-35k

Start date: April 2025

We are looking for talented people with a flare for IT hardware to join our growing team in one of the worlds largest Cloud businesses. You will be based within a large Data Centre cluster based in Dublin getting hands on with some of the largest most sophisticated servers in the world.

In the role you can expect to be maintaining the servers, typical tasks would include changing components such as memory, hard drives, media etc. Changing CPUs, troubleshooting issues on the racks and some install.

The contract is an excellent foot in the door to a career with a world leading business. You will get the opportunity to join the business on a permanent basis at the end of the contract. We have seen people go from contractors to site leads in the space of a few years. So, the career opportunities are enormous for the more ambitious people.

We are looking for people ideally with a CCNA or Comptia + qualification with 1-2 years of experience working in a IT support type role. We will consider those who work on home projects with a strong understanding for how a PC works but never got the opportunity to get a job in the space.
