Aircraft Spray Painter

Location: Dublin Airport, Ireland
Reporting to: Production Manager / Team Leader

We're currently recruiting for multiple Aircraft Spray Painter positions and welcome applications from both experienced Spray painters and candidates with transferable painting skills from Industries such as automotive, industrial, commercial, or other spray painting environments.

The Role

As an Aircraft Spray Painter, you will be responsible for the preparation, painting, and finishing of commercial aircraft, including the application of customer liveries and technical markings. Working as part of a highly skilled team, you’ll ensure aircraft are delivered to the highest quality, safety, and airworthiness standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and paint aircraft in line with customer specifications
  • Inspect aircraft surfaces before, during, and after painting
  • Carry out stripping, sanding, cleaning, masking, sealing, and polishing
  • Apply paint, liveries, and technical markings with precision and accuracy
  • Assist with aircraft docking, washing, and component movement as required
  • Complete final checks, support customer inspections, and ensure aircraft are ready for departure
  • Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and airworthiness regulations

Desirable but not Essential

  • Experience in spray painting large equipment, commercial vehicles, or similar

(panel beating or motor mechanics experience also considered)

  • Strong attention to detail with pride in producing high-quality finishes
  • A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern (days and nights)
  • Reliable transport to Dublin Airport

Job Type & Schedule

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Shift pattern: 5 on / 3 off (2 weeks of days, 2 weeks of nights on rotation)
  • Overtime available

Salary & Benefits

  • Basic salary: €31, 028 – €42,994(depending on experience)
  • Shift premium: 20% on all hours worked
  • Estimated total earnings: €35,652 - €50,010
