Full job description

Oral Surgery Dental Implantology Receptionist duties

1. Answering telephone call and email queries.

2. Scheduling patient appointment.

3. Managing email communication and patient requests with discretion and sensitivity.

4. Managing confidential patient information.

5. Communication with hospital and consultants.

6. Billing patients and reconciling accounts at end of day.

7. Vhi/Laya/Irish Life processing claims.

8. General office duties such as scanning and matching to patient records.

9. Organising General Anaesthesia Oral Surgery Operating lists - Admissions

Requirements:

Excellent interpersonal, communication and telephone skills.

Excellent IT skills. Typing skills from dictation.

Fluency in spoken and written English.

Experience of medical/dental practice software ( R4 Practice Manager and Dentally)

Ability to multitask in a busy environment essential.

Ability to work on own initiative.

Flexibility to cover additional hours such as annual leave/sick leave.

Experience:

At least 2 years medical secretary/dental reception experience in practice preferred.

Experience in a referral only specialist practice -secondary care centre preferred.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: €20 per hour

Expected hours: preferably 40 per week 9/6

Monday to Friday
