English Teacher - Bilbao, Spain

Essential Requirements

  • Full professional proficiency in English (C2 level or equivalent required)
  • Having lived in an English-Speaking country for 10 years (Ireland, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand).

An applicant who does not meet these two requirements will NOT be considered.

Requirements:

  • Being able to bring your cultural background to life in the classroom by sharing traditions, customs, and everyday language from your English-speaking home country.
  • No prior teaching experience? No problem! If you have a natural command of English, a lively personality, and a passion for helping others learn, we’ll provide you with all the training you need.

Tasks:

  • Deliver English lessons to students of varying ages and proficiency levels. (emphasis on kids classes)
  • Class preparation (materials, word blocks, grammar explanations and lesson plans are provided by Number16)
  • Monitor student progress and class attendance
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment!
