Full job description

Warren Allen Coffee is currently recruiting for a part time Barista to join the team in our team.

Applicants must be passionate about coffee

At Warren Allen Coffee we only serve the absolute best coffee.We have sourced the best locally roasted artisan coffee beans, We have the best local milk to accompany our delicious espresso and we use some of the best equipment money can buy.

However with all that said we still know that the most important ingredient in every cup is the human one which is why we will only have the best barista's making our coffee.

We are a young company with further plans for expansion in the near future, creating opportunities for anyone looking to progress their career into supervisory and management positions.

Some Duties for this role will include:

  • Following operating procedures
  • Operating the POS/Till
  • Preparing Hot and Cold beverages
  • Preparing Sandwiches/Wraps/Bagels
  • Serving customers
  • Cleaning as you go
  • Adhering to all Health and Safety and Food Hygiene procedures.

Our coffee shop is very busy and has a great buzz.The ideal person will need to have the ability to remain calm when under pressure & also work efficiently, strong customer service skills are essential.

We will look to invest time in training you to become a top quality barista capable of serving & presenting only the best beverages, also hopefully helping you to achieve your barista certification, we would also encourage and support our baristas to compete in National and international Barista & Latte art championships.

We will also train you in the preparation of food sandwich's/ Bagels and their presentation.

There will also be ongoing assessment and mentoring to help you reach the highest possible standards.

Strong English - written and verbal - is required for this job.

Experience: An Advantage, Positive Attitude: Essential
