Experienced Cook – Busy Café (Children’s Playcentre, Swords)

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Cook to join our busy café located within a vibrant children’s playcentre in Swords.

This is a hands-on role involving the preparation and delivery of high-quality food in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be confident working independently, highly organised, and bring creativity to menu development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and cooking of food to a high standard
  • Assisting with menu planning and introducing new ideas
  • Maintaining all HACCP records and food safety procedures
  • Managing food orders and stock control
  • Ensuring full compliance with HSE regulations

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment
  • HACCP certification (essential)
  • Garda vetting (required)
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Good command of the English language
  • Positive, can-do attitude
