Full job description

Ice Cream Truck Driver – Events & Corporate Catering

We’re looking for friendly, reliable drivers to join our growing family-run ice cream truck business for the busy season ahead.

This is not a traditional “driving around estates” ice cream van role. Our fleet operates at corporate events, concerts, festivals, sporting events, heritage sites, parks and private functions across Dublin and Ireland.

The role is a mix of driving, customer service and event operations, with vans typically parked on-site serving customers throughout the day.

Requirements

  • Must be over 25 years of age
  • Full Irish or EU driving licence essential
  • Comfortable driving larger vans/commercial vehicles
  • Hospitality, food service or customer-facing experience preferred
  • Friendly, professional and well presented
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings and busy summer periods
  • Reliable, punctual and capable of working independently
  • Fluent English essential
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Must be comfortable dealing directly with customers, event organisers and members of the public

The Role

  • Driving ice cream vans to and from events and locations
  • Setting up and operating the van during service
  • Serving customers and handling payments
  • Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle
  • Representing the business professionally at high-profile venues and events

What We Offer

  • Flexible seasonal work with strong hours during peak season
  • Work at major concerts, festivals, sporting events and corporate activations
  • Supportive family-run team environment
  • Training provided
  • Opportunity for long-term returning work each season

Experience in cafés, catering, food trucks, retail or hospitality is a major advantage.

To apply, please send your CV along with a short summary of your driving and work experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: €15.00-€16.00 per hour
