Position: Kitchen Porter

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Hourly Rate: €13.50 – €16.00 per hour (depending on experience)About Morrissey’s

Morrissey’s is a premium seafood and steak restaurant and bar in the heart of Doonbeg. We are focused on quality ingredients, strong service standards, and building a venue that is both community-led and destination-worthy.

We are building a strong, reliable kitchen team and are looking for a hardworking Kitchen Porter who takes pride in keeping a professional kitchen clean, organised, and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Washing dishes, glassware, cutlery, and kitchen equipment
  • Maintaining a clean and organised pot wash area
  • Ensuring kitchen floors, surfaces, and storage areas are cleaned to high standards
  • Assisting chefs with basic food preparation (vegetable prep, peeling, etc.)
  • Removing waste and recycling responsibly
  • Following HACCP and food safety procedures
  • Supporting the team during busy service periods
  • Assisting with deliveries and stock rotation
