Our client services the local agricultural sector, working alongside the local community, the Department of Agriculture, Food & Marine (DAFM) & their veterinary team on a daily basis.
The role consists of the following key responsibilities:
Reception:
– Greet/liaise with customers & visitors
– Answer & direct incoming calls
– Manage incoming/outgoing post & emails
– Manage bookings/collections of stock from farms
Admin/Accounts:
– Manage all paperwork & maintain accurate records
– Management of invoicing/banking
– Payroll (Bi-weekly basis)
– Preparation of weekly/monthly reports (as required)
– Preparation of files for audits etc (as required)
The right candidate would possess the following skills:
– Communication – Clear & friendly verbal/written skills
– Organisation – Time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
– Punctuality – Reliable & professional
– Software Literacy – Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Accounting Software System (Sage)
– Previous experience in the agricultural sector is desirable but not essential
