Post Summary: This role in the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences reports to the School Manager. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of School, School Directors, the School Manager, Undergraduate and Postgraduate Course Coordinators, as well as external stakeholders. They will liaise with academic and administrative staff, current and prospective students, members of the public and suppliers on a regular basis and will be expected to have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate is required to have excellent administrative and I.T. skills and willingness to learn and be flexible in supporting a busy and dynamic school. Prior knowledge of FIS and experience as a Purchase Order Administrator (POA) and/or managing School/Faculty finances/purchase orders will be a distinct advantage.
Due to the nature of this post working from home cannot be facilitated.
Post status: Permanent Contract
Hours of Post: Part-Time (0.5 FTE)
Salary: This appointment will be made on the pro-rated Executive Officer Merged Salary Scale (€34,363 - €52,754 per annum pro-rata) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
