Full job description

We are currently seeking to hire a part-time payroll administrator for our accountant’s practice in West Limerick.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume working environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Timely preparation of payroll for weekly/fortnightly & monthly payrolls including the following:
  • Ensuring that all employee records are up to date
  • Resolve payroll queries from employer/employees
  • Respond to requests from employers/employees
  • Monitor employee holiday entitlements
  • Other ad hoc admin tasks to ensure alignment of the key administration functions
  • Ability to meet deadlines, organise workload and prioritise tasks
  • Ensuring compliance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and ensure that a high level of confidentiality is maintained at all time.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an office environment
  • Excellent IT and administration skills, as well as a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communication skills and confidentiality essential
  • Previous payroll experience is essential

This position would suit a candidate looking for part-time hours working from Wednesday to Friday each week. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Pay: From €17.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
