Full job description

Masterstock is a specialist pharmacy stocktaking company, and we are looking for reliable, enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our friendly team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking regular part-time employment, working approximately 20–30 hours per week.

The role involves travelling to pharmacies throughout Ireland and carrying out accurate stock counts using handheld barcode scanning equipment.

No previous stocktaking experience is required, as full training will be provided.

Working Hours & Travel

  • Mainly Monday to Friday, daytime working hours.
  • Approximately 20–30 hours per week.
  • No night shifts.
  • Occasional weekend work, approximately 4–5 weekends per year.
  • Team transport is provided from Red Cow Luas station, with morning pick-up generally between 7:00 am and 7:30 am.
  • Applicants must be able to reach Red Cow Luas station for morning departures. Living close to the Red Luas Line or Red Cow station would be ideal.
  • Some assignments involve overnight stays outside Dublin.
  • All accommodation and meals during overnight assignments are paid for by Masterstock.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately count pharmacy stock using handheld barcode scanners.
  • Work efficiently as part of a small team.
  • Follow stocktaking procedures to ensure accuracy.
  • Travel to different pharmacy locations throughout Ireland.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous manner when working on customers' premises.

Requirements

  • Good spoken and written English is essential.
  • Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfortable using handheld electronic equipment.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Flexible regarding travel and occasional overnight stays.
  • Able to reach Red Cow Luas station for early morning departures.
  • Previous experience in retail, pharmacy or stocktaking is an advantage but not essential.

Pay & Benefits

  • €15.00 per hour starting rate.
  • Increases to €15.75 per hour after successful completion of a 4-week trial period.
  • Approximately 20–30 hours per week.
  • Mainly weekday daytime work.
  • No night shifts.
  • Transport provided from Red Cow Luas station.
  • Accommodation and meals paid for during overnight assignments.
