Bon Secours Hospital Cork is Ireland’s largest private hospital. Established in 1915, the Hospital has 343 beds, employs over 1,000 staff and cares for more than 100,000 patients per annum. It is an acute general hospital providing an extensive range of medical and surgical specialities for both adults and children including Oncology, Cardiology, Orthopaedics, Gastroenterology, General Surgery and Radiotherapy Services.
Bon Secours Hospital Cork is a teaching hospital of UCC thereby making a significant contribution to the undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in medicine, nursing and allied health professions. The Hospital is proud to hold many quality accreditations including JCI, JAG, INAB, ASCO and ESMO.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Audit Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will support clinical audit and effectiveness initiatives, helping to design, implement, and evaluate strategies, systems, and policies. You will work closely with the head of quality and risk and clinical staff to ensure audits are conducted efficiently, data is accurately analysed, and findings are presented to key stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to improving clinical practices and patient care through data-driven insights and continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement strategies, policies, and systems for clinical audit and effectiveness.
- Support medical and clinical staff with audit design, data collection, analysis, and report preparation.
- Advise staff and patients on audit methodologies.
- Present audit findings to stakeholders and compare results to national/international standards.
- Coordinate clinical audit meetings.
- Support and coordinate research applications
Requirements:
- Degree in Quality Management or Statistical Analysis.
- Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
- Advanced IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint, statistical analysis).
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Experience in a healthcare or accredited environment is a plus.
- Innovative, self-motivated, and collaborative.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
