We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Accountant to join our growing team at O'Mahoney Business Advisors in Dungarvan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of accounts for a diverse portfolio of companies and sole traders
  • Preparation and submission of corporate and personal tax returns
  • Preparation and filing of VAT and PAYE returns
  • Assisting clients with day-to-day accounting and compliance matters
  • Supporting the team with ad hoc assignments and projects as required

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) or an experienced accountant with relevant practice experience
  • Have a minimum of 3 years' experience working in an accountancy practice
  • Possess strong technical accounting and tax knowledge
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be highly organised, with strong attention to detail
  • Be capable of working independently and as part of a team
