Full job description

Social Content Manager

Location: Dublin, Ireland
Salary: €46,000 per annum
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Full-Time
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

About the Job

Reporting to the Head of Digital and Social, this is an important role within the team, bridging client service, content ideation and content execution.

The Social Content Manager will lead on social content ideas, support campaign delivery, manage day-to-day client relationships and help bring social-first thinking to both always-on and campaign work.

What You’ll Do

Content and Creation

You’ll lead ideation for both content and campaigns. You’ll be comfortable writing and selling in ideas, and then being involved in production across video, stills, animation and other formats, depending on your level of production experience.

Client Communication

You’ll act as the day-to-day contact for a range of social clients, building trusted relationships, identifying areas for growth, helping to solve problems and servicing client needs as they arise.

Strategic Thinking

You’ll create and execute plans for clients, including channel strategies, campaign strategies and content calendars, while keeping a clear focus on business results and growth opportunities for the agency.

Managing and Executing

You’ll manage end-to-end campaign execution, coordinating with internal teams across creative, agency, live and external suppliers to ensure work is delivered on time and on budget.

Business Growth

You’ll help defend and grow margin through accurate scoping, quoting and monitoring of time and resource spent. You don’t need to be an accountant, but you should have a good head for business.

Community and Channel Management

You’ll oversee publishing and platform management, ensuring tone of voice consistency, guiding community management and responding to users where appropriate.

Your Experience

This is an ideal role for someone who is proactive, full of ideas and a strong communicator, with experience building client relationships.

Ideally, you will bring:

  • 3+ years’ relevant experience in social advertising, creating ideas for clients and communicating with them daily in an agency or in-house setting.
  • Experience working across both always-on content and campaign activity across a variety of clients, preferably at the same time.
  • Strong communication, client management and presentation skills.
  • An eye for creative excellence, with the ability to develop both big campaign ideas and smaller reactive content ideas.
  • Experience producing video and still content for social, including working with editors, photographers, designers, videographers and other creative partners.
  • Proven experience managing budgets, internal resources and external suppliers.
  • A socially oriented creative outlet or channel of your own would be a bonus, but is not essential.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who understands social content, enjoys working closely with clients and can balance creativity with delivery. You should be comfortable moving between ideas, planning, production, client conversations and campaign execution.

You’ll suit this role if you are organised, commercially aware, collaborative and confident bringing social-first thinking into client work.

How to Apply

Please apply with your CV and any relevant examples of social content, campaign work or creative projects that show your experience and style.
