This is a rewarding opportunity to support patients who rely on specialist homecare services, working closely with healthcare professionals and internal teams to deliver a safe, efficient and compassionate service. This is a full-time 12-month MAT cover contract role based at our clients Ireland office near Dublin.

Ideal Requirements for the Healthcare Coordinator

  • A customer-focused communicator with experience supporting patients or customers in a busy environment, who enjoys building positive relationships and delivering an outstanding service.
  • A highly organised individual with excellent attention to detail, able to manage multiple priorities, work to deadlines and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced setting.
  • A collaborative team player who works well with colleagues and healthcare professionals, takes initiative and is confident solving problems to achieve the best outcomes for patients.
  • Strong IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to quickly learn new systems. Experience within a healthcare setting or using SAP is an advantage but not essential.

Role Responsibilities for the Healthcare Coordinator

  • Deliver an exceptional patient experience by acting as a key point of contact for patients, healthcare professionals and internal teams, providing professional, compassionate support via phone, email and in person while ensuring every interaction is handled with care.
  • Coordinate life-changing homecare services by managing Home Parenteral Nutrition (HPN) orders, prescriptions and deliveries, working closely with hospitals, pharmacies and compounding units to ensure patients receive the right treatment at the right time.
  • Make a real impact on patient safety by proactively identifying and resolving issues, escalating concerns where necessary, and ensuring all prescriptions, orders and documentation are accurate and compliant with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Work collaboratively across healthcare and business teams to support patient set-up, funding, invoicing and reporting, helping to deliver a seamless, high-quality homecare service while contributing to continuous service improvement.
