We are an independent pharmacy group based in Dublin 2, and we're a very patient-focused pharmacy. We believe in looking after our customers, supporting our staff and creating a workplace where people enjoy coming to work.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an MPSI-registered Pharmacist with at least 2 years' experience working in an Irish community pharmacy who is looking for a role with genuine work-life balance.
Our pharmacy serves a lovely local community, and you'll be working alongside a small, experienced and supportive team. There are no late nights and no Bank Holiday shifts, allowing you to enjoy your time outside of work.
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys community pharmacy and takes pride in delivering excellent care to every patient.
You will:
- Be MPSI registered.
- Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in an Irish community pharmacy.
- Be friendly, approachable and professional.
- Enjoy building relationships with patients and the local community.
- Be organised, accurate and able to work efficiently in a busy dispensary.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Be a team player who is happy to support colleagues while helping to create a positive working environment.
- Have good commercial awareness and understand the importance of delivering both excellent patient care and a successful pharmacy business.
The Role
As Support Pharmacist, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day running of the dispensary, working closely with the supervising pharmacist and the rest of the team to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the dispensary.
- Providing safe, professional and patient-focused pharmaceutical care.
- Delivering a high standard of customer service.
- Processing prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Handling queries from patients, prescribers, suppliers and healthcare professionals.
- Managing pharmacy schemes, claims and reclaims.
- Monitoring payments and ensuring claims are submitted accurately and on time.
- Maintaining high standards of organisation, cleanliness and professionalism throughout the dispensary.
- Supporting and encouraging the wider pharmacy team to provide the best possible service to our customers.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary based on experience.
- Performance-related bonus.
- Pension scheme.
- Generous staff discount.
- No late nights.
- No Bank Holiday working.
- A friendly and supportive working environment.
- The opportunity to become part of a successful and growing independent pharmacy group where your contribution is genuinely valued.
If you're looking for a pharmacy where you'll be supported, appreciated and able to build long-term relationships with your patients and colleagues, we'd love to hear from you.
