Full job description

Soks & Joks is a start-up retail brand, offering quality socks and men’s underwear presented as a luxury gift. Located in Shannon, Soks & Joks is elevating a classic gift and bringing it to the Irish market.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and highly motivated Social Media & Content Creation Assistant to help grow our brand and increase awareness across Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for content creation and social media, who can combine creativity with professionalism and understands how to create engaging content for e-commerce.

Social Media & Content Creation Assistant Duties

  • Film and edit short-form and long-form video content for Instagram, TikTok & Facebook
  • Design, create and schedule engaging content across all social media platforms
  • Grow audience engagement, reach and brand awareness across all platforms
  • Arranging and supervising online ad campaigns e.g. Google Ads, Facebook Ads
  • Monitor social media performance and analytics and provide regular reports and recommendations

Essential Requirements

  • Previous demonstrated experience managing social media accounts for businesses or organisations
  • Strong photography, videography and content creation skills
  • Experience creating high-quality reels, short-form video content and visual marketing materials
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Full driving licence and access to transport
  • Ability to attend our Shannon office regularly for content creation

Desirable Experience

· Experience working with e-commerce

· Relevant higher education qualifications (or currently studying) in Business Studies or Marketing

· Experience running paid social media advertising campaigns

Additional Information

The successful candidate will be expected to attend the Shannon Office once a week.

Location: Shannon (Hybrid)

Hours: 16 hours per week (This may increase as the brand grows.)

Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience

Pay: €1.00 per year
