Full job description

We are seeking part-time and full-time Early Years Educators for both of our facilities in;

· Knockconan, Emyale, Co. Monaghan H18DY07

· Clara, Emyvale, Co. Monaghan H18E365

These are two busy services providing care and education for babies from 6 months up to and including School Age Children.

Candidate Requirements for Early Years Educator:

· Minimum Level 5 Certificate (NI Level 3) in Early Childhood & Care and Education required, but higher qualification would be welcomed.

· Must be motivated, enthusiastic, flexible and child focused and a good team worker.

· First Aid, Manual Handling and Child Protection Training would be an advantage but not essential.

· Must be passionate about working with children.

· Graduates are encouraged to apply.

Duties & Responsibilities of Early Years Educator:

(Duties will be discussed in full at time of interview. A brief outline is below):

· To support and assist in the provision of full-time early care and education of the highest quality.

· Experience in working within a play-based service and a working knowledge of applying Aistear and Siolta to curriculum planning and practice.

· Support children's development - emotional, social, physical and cognitive in carrying out activities.

· Conduct observations & learning stories for assigned child/children.

· Perform other reasonable and relevant duties as may be assigned from time to time.
