About Manor Farm

Manor Farm is Ireland's leading poultry producer and part of Scandi Standard, the leading poultry producer in the Nordic region. Our Procurement function manages approximately €190 million annual spend across feed ingredients, live animals, packaging, logistics, utilities, engineering services and indirect procurement. We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to strengthen our strategic capability and help drive procurement excellence.

Role Purpose

Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement, the Procurement Specialist will provide analytical, commercial and procurement support across both Direct and Indirect Procurement. This is not a traditional purchasing role. The successful candidate will support strategic sourcing, tender management, contract management, procurement analytics, commercial reporting, supplier relationship management, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), inventory optimisation and continuous improvement. They will work with large and complex datasets, transforming data into meaningful commercial insight and presenting recommendations to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement

  • Support strategic sourcing across Direct and Indirect Procurement.

  • Lead and support competitive tender exercises and supplier evaluations.

  • Conduct supplier benchmarking and market intelligence.

  • Prepare commercial evaluations and total cost of ownership analyses.

  • Support supplier negotiations and identify value improvement opportunities.

  • Develop supplier relationships and support performance reviews.

Contract Management

  • Support the full supplier contract lifecycle, including implementation, amendments and renewals.

  • Maintain the Procurement contract register and ensure documentation is current.

  • Monitor contract milestones, compliance and renewal dates.

  • Support commercial negotiations and contractual amendments.

  • Ensure compliance with Procurement Policy and Delegated Authority requirements.

  • Work with Legal, Finance and operational stakeholders to implement supplier agreements.

Procurement Analytics & Reporting

  • Analyse large and complex procurement datasets from ERP and business systems.

  • Develop procurement dashboards and KPI reporting.

  • Produce spend analysis, cost models and executive reports.

  • Identify trends, risks, anomalies and commercial opportunities.

  • Challenge data and provide evidence-based recommendations.

  • Prepare professional PowerPoint presentations for senior management and Group Procurement.

Material Planning & Inventory

  • Support Material Requirements Planning (MRP).

  • Analyse inventory performance and optimisation opportunities.

  • Support forecasting and demand planning.

  • Monitor obsolete, excess and slow-moving inventory.

Commercial & Business Support

  • Prepare business cases.

  • Support budgeting and forecasting.

  • Support procurement governance and policy compliance.

  • Develop reporting tools and support continuous improvement projects.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships across NPD, Production, Planning, Finance, Engineering and Supply Chain.

  • Liaise with Group Procurement across Scandi Standard.

  • Present procurement analysis and recommendations to senior management.

Essential Requirements

  • CIPS qualification.

  • Minimum 5 years procurement or similar experience.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including complex data analysis.

  • Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint skills.

  • Experience working with large and complex datasets.

  • Strong commercial awareness and analytical capability.

  • Experience producing executive reports for senior management.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Full driving licence.

Desirable Experience

  • Manufacturing or FMCG procurement.
