GPs at Tallaght Cross is a progressive, welcoming, and patient-focused GP practice serving the Tallaght community. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Practice Nurse to join our friendly multidisciplinary team on a long-term part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative environment, utilising your existing clinical skills while having opportunities to further develop and expand your expertise.
Working Hours
- Approximately 3 days per week
Role & Responsibilities The successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of nursing duties, including:
- Phlebotomy
- Childhood and adult immunisations/vaccinations
- Cervical screening
- Chronic Disease Management
- Skin and wound care, including suture removal
- ECGs and 24-hour ABPM monitoring
- Injection administration
- Clinical stock management
- Clinical administration using GP software systems
Essential Requirements
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) currently registered with the NMBI
- Minimum of 2 years' post-registration experience
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Hardworking, conscientious, and a strong team player
- Valid permission to work in Ireland (EU/EEA, Stamp 4 or Stamp 1G)
Desirable
- Previous General Practice experience would be advantageous but is not essential
