Early Years Educator (AIM SUPPORT)

€15.00 per hour

Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm

38 weeks per year

DCYA recognised Early Learning & Care qualification essential

Cygnet's Nest is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Early Years Educator to join our small and welcoming team.

This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a nurturing early years setting where children's wellbeing, play, creativity and development are at the heart of each day.

About the role

You will work alongside the lead teacher to:

  • Support the care and education of children in a preschool setting.
  • Help create a warm, safe and engaging learning environment.
  • Assist with daily routines, indoor and outdoor activities, and mealtimes.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and build positive relationships with families.
  • Contribute to maintaining high standards of care, safety and professional practice.

Essential requirements

  • QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education (or another recognised qualification suitable for working in an Irish early years setting).
  • A genuine enjoyment of working with young children.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A caring, patient and positive approach.
  • Eligibility and availability to work in Ireland.

Pay: €15.00 per hour
