Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Manager / Print Manager to oversee the end-to-end production and delivery of signage projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing production planning, fabrication, digital printing, installation co-ordination, quality control and stock management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

Business Development Manager:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of sign manufacturing production from order receipt through to installation.
  • Plan and co-ordinate production schedules to ensure efficient workflow and timely project delivery.
  • Oversee fabrication, assembly, digital printing, vinyl cutting and finishing processes.
  • Co-ordinate vehicle graphics, vehicle wrapping, chevrons, and internal and external signage production.
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout all stages of production.
  • Manage installation teams and ensure projects are completed safely and professionally.
  • Conduct quality control inspections prior to dispatch and installation.
  • Ensure all health and safety procedures, risk assessments and method statements are followed.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels, materials, equipment and tools.
  • Carry out regular stock checks and maintain accurate records.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Liaise with design, sales, administration, suppliers and customers to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, increased efficiency and cost savings.
  • Support the development of new products, services and operational improvements.

Skills & Experience Required:

Essential

  • Proven experience in sign manufacturing and production management.
  • Experience managing end-to-end signage projects.
  • Strong knowledge of fabrication, assembly, installation and quality control processes.
  • Experience with digital printing and vinyl cutting equipment.
  • Experience in vehicle graphics and vehicle wrapping.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills.
  • Full driving licence and own transport.

Preferred:

  • Experience in signage design processes and artwork preparation.
  • Knowledge of large-format print production.
  • Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of stock control and stock management systems.
