Full job description

Production Operations Coordinator

Location: Dublin 24
Salary: €45,000

The opportunity

We're working with a well established distribution and operations business in Dublin to find a Production Operations Coordinator for their Operations function. Think of this as the engine room role: the person who keeps planning, billing, and system processes ticking over so the wider warehouse and distribution side of the business can run without a hitch.

It's a busy, deadline led environment, and no two days look quite the same. You'll be juggling production schedules, billing runs, and the odd fire to put out, all while keeping the data spotless. If you've come up through logistics, warehousing, or distribution and you actually like untangling operational problems, this one's worth a look.

Where you'll spend your time

  • Planning and issuing daily production runs, from label generation through to full production packs
  • Keeping billing cycles (daily and weekly) on track and validated through SAP or a comparable system
  • Digging into discrepancies, whether that's billing, data, or a system hiccup, and getting to the root of it
  • Building and maintaining interface files that feed print sites and other downstream systems
  • Being the go to operational contact across warehouse, packing, and copy allocation
  • Stepping in wherever an issue threatens to hold up distribution timelines
  • Holding the line on data accuracy and process integrity
  • Flagging patterns in recurring issues and pushing for better ways of doing things
  • Working flexibly across rotating shifts as operational demand shifts
  • Helping bring new team members up to speed

What you'll bring

  • A background in logistics, warehousing, distribution, or a similarly operational setting
  • Solid, hands on experience with SAP or an equivalent system
  • A sharp eye for detail, especially where data and billing are concerned
  • The ability to work independently, juggle priorities, and stay steady under pressure
  • Comfort communicating directly with warehouse and operational teams
  • A genuine interest in improving how things run, not just keeping them ticking over

Systems and tools

SAP transaction processing, billing cycle management, production planning systems, interface file generation, warehouse management systems, label and batch creation tools, data reconciliation, and spreadsheet based analysis.

At ThinkDifferently.ie we are an equal opportunity agency. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnic origin or disability status.

Pay: €45,000.00 per hour

Application question(s):

  • Do you have experience working in logistics, warehousing, distribution, or a similar operational environment? If yes, how many years?
  • Have you used SAP or a comparable operational/billing system in a previous role? Please specify which system.
  • Have you managed or supported billing cycle processes (daily/weekly) in a previous role?

Work authorisation:

  • Ireland (required)

Work Location: In person
