Full job description

We are seeking an experienced Technical 3D Visualisation Designer in Ireland. You will join a small, fast-paced team within the organisation creating industry-leading visual communication tools that help plan work, share best practice, and strengthen tenders.

Working directly with engineers and site crews, you will turn complex construction methods, site experience, and engineering solutions into clear, engaging visual content.

Key Duties, Skills and Experience:

Duties:

  • Work closely with engineers, managers, and site teams to understand how projects are planned and delivered.
  • Turn site knowledge and technical information into clear visual outputs for tenders, engineering details, and company procedures.
  • Develop outputs as rendered imagery, documents, animations, or interactive experiences.
  • Create 3D models to the required technical standard, process as-built models, and optimise existing library assets.
  • Develop technical 3D scenes and compositions ready for rendered or interactive output.
  • Use AI-assisted workflows within 3D modelling, rendering, image generation, post-processing, and content creation.
  • Research and implement new tools and AI technologies to improve team capability and efficiency.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in 3D visual communication, architectural visualisation, gaming, technical design, or a similar technical role.
  • Be a confident communicator who is resourceful and shows initiative.
  • You must be interested in how things are built and willing to learn new processes.
  • Experience using AI tools within your workflow
  • Full driving licence required.

Why Work With Us?

  • Work on live construction projects with engineering teams delivering critical infrastructure across England, Ireland and North America.
  • Apply your 3D production workflows to real-world construction and engineering problems.
  • Join a team that values hard work, creative problem-solving, innovation, and teamwork.
  • Build a lasting career and have a good laugh along the way.

Where You’ll Be Based

This role will be split between site and the Galway Head Office. You will support tender and bid projects for the Irish market, while also creating visual content for live site activities. Spending time on site is an important part of the role, helping you build practical construction knowledge and produce technically accurate visuals for project bids and delivery teams.

Mentoring and Professional Development

The Visuals Team supports projects across all Ward & Burke markets, giving you exposure to engineering, construction, and tendering work. We work collaboratively, sharing knowledge, skills, and experience through regular feedback, mentoring, and ongoing project updates. You will be involved in a broad mix of projects, helping you develop technically and professionally while building a stronger understanding of how infrastructure is designed, planned and built.
