Your Role:
As a Senior Project Manager at Citco, you will be responsible for managing complex IT projects in a fast-paced financial institution environment. Your primary focus will be on initiatives within Private Equity IT, ensuring successful delivery of project deliverables within the constraints of schedule, scope, and budget. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including development, QA and business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical specialists to drive value delivery and ensure project outcomes maximize business benefits.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project management artifacts, including project plans, status reports, risk and issue logs, and software artifacts in JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint.
- Build a collaborative and productive team environment, driving accountability towards critical milestones and deadlines.
- Conduct regular meetings with project team members to track progress and provide status updates to key stakeholders.
- Run the Scrum ceremonies for one or more Scrum teams, encouraging best agile practices.
- Develop and present strategic reports that effectively communicate project performance, risks, and business value to senior stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively with all levels, from senior management to project team members.
- Anticipate and address potential impediments to team delivery and administer metrics tracking.
- Develop and maintain risk and issue logs.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and establish administrative process improvements, fostering team collaboration and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency and team engagement.

Assist with PMO related activities in enhancing processes and assisting in rolling out PMO processes to the larger IT organization.
About You
- 5+ years managing complex IT projects, focusing on development in financial institutions.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Project management certifications (PMP, Agile) preferred.
- Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence and other project management tools.
- Expertise in IT project management, business analysis, and change management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to lead and motivate colleagues.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of project risk management frameworks, and of risk assessment processes.
- Experience supporting or working within a PMO function.

Experience in Financial Services, particularly in private assets, would be an advantage.
