SHORT ROLE DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE OF ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with 5+ years’ experience to deliver complex engineered-to-order projects within a manufacturing environment, serving highly regulated industries such as Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences. The Project Manager will have end-to-end responsibility for the successful execution of projects, ensuring delivery to client specifications, quality standards, and schedules. This role is ideal for a confident, delivery-driven professional with strong project management discipline, proven client-facing capability, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams using structured project management methodologies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Project Management of multiple complex projects at one time

· Own and manage the sales handover process for new projects

· Lead formal project initiation including scope definition, stakeholder alignment, risk assessment and baseline planning

· Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, Risks and Issues logs using industry recognised delivery practices

· Act as primary client interface, ensuring strong stakeholder engagement and transparent project communication while practicing the ProSys Customer Intimacy Model

· Apply change control procedures and manage client variation requests to protect project scope and margin

· Manage project budgets, forecasts, earned value tracking, and resource utilisation

· Coordinate design reviews, procurement activities, and long-lead item management to support schedule compliance

· Plan and execute Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT) in line with regulatory and client requirements

· Ensure adherence to Good Documentation Practices and support audits where required

· Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned, retrospectives, and PMO best practice adoption

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management within equipment, engineering, or regulated manufacturing environments

· Strong working knowledge of PMO governance, stage-gate delivery, and structured project lifecycle management

· Practical experience applying industry standard PM best practices (e.g. PMI/APM/Prince 2 desirable)

· Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, risks, and stakeholder expectations simultaneously

· Excellent client-facing communication and leadership skills

· Highly organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working across multiple priorities

· Experience of Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as used within the Life Sciences industry

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience)

· Formal Project Management qualification desirable (PMP, APM, Prince2 or equivalent)

· Strong understanding of regulated industry delivery and documentation controls
