Job Title: Senior Project Manager – Warmer Homes Scheme (SEAI)
Location: On-the-Road - nationwide
Job Type: Full-Time
Role Overview:
The Senior Project Manager will work on the Warmer Homes Scheme (SEAI) and play a vital part so that all projects are executed and delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, compliance, and to the satisfaction of homeowners and all stakeholders. This is a hands-on leadership role that involves full responsibility throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Execution and Stakeholder Collaboration:
· Enhance the project management systems to be more robust and practicable
· Define the scope of work with clarity and assign the appropriate resources.
· Act as a liaison between management, contractors, and SEAI representatives, surveyors and inspectors to ensure all project deliverables are met.
· Oversee and support contractors who will be installing various home upgrade measures, ensuring all works are completed to stipulated standards.
· Escalate any significant issues directly to management for resolution.
· Collaborate with teams and management to implement corrective measures.
· Promote a continuous improvement policy to optimize productivity & quality.
· Create a positive work culture and actively participate in and promote the company’s vision and development plans.
· Be the primary point of contact for homeowners, managing expectations and ensuring a positive experience throughout the lifecycle of the project.
2. Quality Assurance:
· Practitioner of a reputed integrated QEHS Management Systems
· Oversee and conduct on-site pre and post quality inspections for projects.
· Ensure all work complies with SEAI QADP guidelines, building regulations, and company standards before projects are signed off.
3. Documentation and Reporting:
· Report the progress of multiple projects accurately and timely.
· Maintain detailed records of inspections, findings, and corrective actions.
· Provide comprehensive QA reports to the management for review.
· Highlight and mitigate any systemic issues or recurring quality concerns.
4. Issue Identification and Resolution:
· Identify snags, defects, non-compliance, or deviations from post-project quality assurance surveys to ensure compliance with SEAI guidelines and building regulations.
· Promote a culture of Root-Cause-Analysis and proactive risk mitigation.
· Monitor and assess project performance, to identify and resolve implementation and quality issues.
· Lead the project briefing and de-briefing sessions and utilize lessons-learned tools for improvement.
5. Customer Satisfaction:
· Promote and build a culture of Customer Satisfaction across the organisation.
· Confirm that all work meets or exceeds customer expectations and maintain cordial and courteous customer relations.
· Ensure that proper quality and satisfaction checks are done to hand back properties to Home Owners in a good condition before project closure.
· Strive to make the Homeowner packs comprehensive and valuable.
6. Operational Efficiency Improvement:
· Prepare and submit detailed reports to management.
· Maintain accurate records of inspections, snags and corrective actions.
· Ensure all projects under both schemes are completed to the highest levels of Service Delivery.
· Lead the cost analysis and optimization effort.
· Provide training and guidance to teams on quality and safety standards and best practices.
Requirements – Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:
To be considered for this role, applicants will ideally meet the following criteria:
- Possess a third-level degree in Construction/Engineering, or a trade qualification with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
- Certification in Project Management and/or disciplines such as BER Assessor qualification or strong DEAP proficiency is an advantage.
- Have 3 years’ proven experience operating as a Project Manager or a similar role within the domestic retrofit sector.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of SEAI schemes, construction methods, standards, building regulations, retrofit materials and components.
- Have keen techno-commercial skills, successfully applied in commercial management on retrofit projects and proven experience of managing contractors and customer expectations, to enable smooth delivery of domestic retrofit projects
- Exhibit excellent attention to detail, organisational and problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities.
- Have keen techno-commercial skills with an ability to optimise cost and productivity.
- Be proficient in using apps, tools and software for inspections, planning and reporting.
- Must have a clean full driving licence.
Compensation and benefits:
- Salary: €80,000 and above - depending on skills and experience.
- Company vehicle with Fuel Card, phone and computer.

Pay: From €80,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
