Applications are invited from candidates interested in pursuing research in a post funded by the Office of the Chief Clinical Officer: Planning of the Irish Health Services Executive. The grant was awarded to the Centre for Innovative Human Systems, School of Psychology, Trinity College Dublin.

The successful candidate will join a research team working on the PRACTICE (Process Redesign and Clinical Transformation through Iterative Co-Design and Evaluation) project.

The aims of PRACTICE are:

1. To iteratively co-create the healthcare design process through an action research project where researchers engage with a small number of clinical design teams as they carry out their work.

2. To deliver training/education to support both co-creation process and the embedding of design expertise in the CDIT.

3. To produce a “Healthcare Design Toolbox” to support transfer of knowledge to other design teams.

The project is approaching the mid-way point of its three-year duration.
