Job: Jameson Brand Ambassador (Tour/Experience Host)

Location: Smithfield, Dublin 7

Role types: Part-time & Full-time

Contract: Variable hours

Duration: Commence Feb 2026 until Nov 2026

Applications Closing Date: January 14th, 2026

About us

Jameson Distillery Bow St. is the most celebrated address in Irish whiskey. A Dublin institution since 1780, and a centre piece of Smithfield. This year, Jameson became a top 10 global spirit brand, proudly achieving a huge milestone of distributing over 10 million cases across the globe. At our Visitor Experience in the heart of Dublin 7, the story of Jameson comes to life through our World’s Leading Distillery Tour, cocktail-making classes, premium whiskey tastings and blending classes. Each year we welcome thousands of visitors from all across the globe through our doors, where we connect our guests to our world class whiskey production process and deep-rooted history.

The job

As a Brand Ambassador you will give our guests the opportunity to touch, taste, smell and interact with Jameson and our family of brands. You will help drive brand love across our full whiskey portfolio, inspiring passion for our products. No two days are ever the same in your role as Brand Ambassador, which offers lots of variety and challenge, with the opportunity to rotate across different areas of the distillery experience - including our fantastic retail facility, our buzzing bar or delivering one of our award-winning tours. One day you could be hosting our five different multi-sensory experiences/tours and tastings, the next you could be greeting our guests at reception or showcasing and selling our whiskeys in our on-site retail store. Unlike our whiskey maturation process, which takes its time the pace at Bow Street is a fast-paced; a buzzing environment where our customer first approach isn’t just a mantra, we live and breathe it – every day.

About you

Our next Jameson Brand Ambassadors will have an infectious outgoing personality, with great communication skills and natural desire to deliver and exceed our visitor expectations. You should be a great story-teller, energetic and enjoy working in a consumer centric job that offers variety and excitement. You should be a hard worker, who can work really well in a team and can also have some fun along the way! Like us, you should care about our heritage and be as excited as we are about inspiring passion for the products we are so proud to produce. We have many different nationalities visiting our distillery experiences, so languages such as French, German would be helpful, but not essential. Ideally our next Brand Ambassadors will have experience of working in a customer facing role either in retail, bars, hotels or customer care. You could be currently studying in one of the Dublin or Cork universities and looking for part time hours up to exam time, but open to moving to a full time position, once exams are over. You could also be working in hospitality or retail and want to move to more daytime focussed hours, allowing you spend more quality time with your family and friends.

Essential

  • Previous customer service experience (hospitality, retail, tourism, bars, hotels)
  • Confident, engaging communicator with an outgoing and friendly personality
  • Ability to tell stories and bring brands and products to life
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Team-focused with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Flexible and adaptable to varied duties, schedules, and peak visitor times

Desirable

  • Knowledge of, or interest in, whiskey and spirits.
  • Previous experience as a brand ambassador or in promotional roles.
  • Experience in acting, performing, or public speaking.
  • Passion for heritage brands and storytelling.
