Field Service Engineer (On the road)

Cadent Sourcing has partnered with one of Europe’s most successful engineering-tech businesses over the last 20 years.

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team in Dublin. This role offers excellent training, career progression, and the chance to work on critical UPS systems for top-tier clients.

Required:

  • Preferably, but not essential Electrical Qualification (National Craft Diploma, Engineering Diploma, or equivalent)
  • Safe Pass & Manual Handling certification
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset, practical oriented.
  • Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide
  • Willingness to travel abroad for training.

The Role:

  • Commission, maintain, and troubleshoot/repair UPS systems
  • Deliver high-quality technical support and service to clients
  • Work nationwide on customer sites (travel required)
  • Participate in the on-call rota for out-of-hours support
  • Report daily activities to management
