Full job description

PFK Dairy Systems Ltd. is a milking equipment and dairy technology company based in Rathdowney Co Laois. We specialise in the installing and servicing of a range of dairy equipment, mainly milking parlours, feeding systems and scraper systems.

The company office and store is based in Rathdowney Co Laois.

As Warehouse Manager at PFK Dairy Systems, you will play a pivotal role in customer support in the supply of parts and consumables as well as maintaining good stock control.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Order Processing: Accurately processing sales orders placed by customers and required for installations, service and van/shop stock.
  • Purchasing: Pricing suppliers and keeping up to date with price changes.
  • Customer Communication: Assist with customer enquiries regarding parts and supplying them in a timely manner
  • Sales/Service Documentation: Prepare quotations and sales invoices etc. Experience with Xero Accounting software an advantage.
  • CRM Management: Update and maintain the CRM system with accurate customer information.
  • Payment Processing: Handle payment transactions, including processing credit card payments.
  • General Office Maintenance: Keep the office and store environment tidy, organise stock/supplies, and ensure equipment is in good working order.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with document preparation, filing, data entry, and general administrative tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years previous experience in a Parts Manager/Storeman role or equivalent
  • Able bodied and experience in manual handling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of dairy farming is an advantage but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality work.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
