The Role

BiaSol has opportunities for General Operatives to join our production team in Tullamore, Co. Offaly. We are seeking reliable, hardworking, and motivated individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

As a key member of our production team, responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team on a paced production line to achieve daily and weekly production targets.
  • Carry out production duties including cleaning, packing, labelling, and product handling.
  • Work across all areas of the factory as required.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards throughout the facility.
  • Keep up-to-date knowledge of all products and production processes.
  • Complete all required training and follow work instructions in all areas.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Record production and quality information accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure quality guidelines and SOPs are adhered to in all production areas.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and minimise downtime.
  • Ensure machinery and production processes run efficiently.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements including HACCP and BRC standards.
  • Undertake flexible working hours when required to meet production demands.
  • Physical requirement to lift and carry loads of up to 25kg.

Ideal Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in food manufacturing, bakery production, medical device, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Previous bakery experience would be a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.
  • HACCP certification is desirable.
  • Manual Handling certification is desirable.
  • Experience working in cleanroom or highly controlled manufacturing environments is an advantage.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of cause-and-effect relationships.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Schedule

  • 5 days per week
  • Monday to Friday

Pay: €14.15-€20.00 per hour
