Job Description:

A friendly GP practice in Lucan, Co. Dublin is currently offering a position for Part-Time Medical Secretary.

Duties:

· Greet patients in a professional manner.

· Answer the phone and making calls.

· Diary management for 5 GP’s and 3 Nurses.

· Dealing with emails, Healthmail and Gmail.

· Seeking results from local hospitals.

· Recording payments received from customers, sending bills to customers and balancing accounts for morning/evening sessions of clinic.

· General office duties, including sorting of post for GP’s.

Requirements:

· Experience in medical environment is desirable.

· Good computer skills are essential.

· Good communication skills and professional manner at all times.

· Trustworthy, reliable and good time-keeper.

· Capable of working on own initiative in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to use any Health Care healthcare package beneficial.

· Use of Word, Email and Scanning.

· Enjoy working as part of a team.

Working Hours:

· Job-sharing role. Commence work on a Thursday, Friday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Alternating weeks with job-sharing partner. Hours are 09.00hrs-12.45hrs & 14.00hrs-18.00hrs. Monday hours are 09.00hrs-12.45hrs & 14.00hrs-20.00hrs.

Pay: From €20.00 per hour
