**EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY ***

Working in a very busy medical office environment, you will work within an administration team which is responsible for:

  • Ensuring that all patients are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Dealing with all queries in an efficient and professional manner
  • To ensure that patient care and safety are always adhered to
  • Answering phone calls and arranging appointments
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail
  • Maintain daily lists for clinics.
  • Writing letters or recording medical notes
  • Filing and typing up reports
  • Scheduling off-site clinics
  • Supports physician staff by representing physicians
  • Providing personal assistant support to medical staff
  • Arrange referrals; billing patients and third-party payers
  • Dictaphone typing of all medical reports.
  • Maintaining office files and patient records
  • To ensure that patient care and safety are always adhered to
  • Providing cover on the reception desk, taking calls, checking in patients
  • Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock; anticipating needs; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
  • Keep office equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
  • Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
  • Enhances physician office reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Essential Experience Includes:

  • Experience in a medical admin role would be an advantage
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Previous experience of working in a busy office
  • Customer service & verbal communication skills
  • Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel) is a must
  • Proficient in English, with excellent verbal and written skills
  • Organised with strong time management skills
  • Medical Terminology and Dictaphone typing are essential
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Possess awareness and sensitivity towards patient needs.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team, and to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Discretion and ability to use initiative.
  • Good report writing skills
  • Strong typing
  • Business acumen
  • Works well within a team environment

Pay: €27,500.00-€31,000.00 per year
