Full job description

We are recruiting for an additional part-time, permanent position for a Medical Secretary to work in our busy medical centre in Cork City centre. Hours are 1.00- 6.00pm Mon/Tue/Thur/Fri. A minimum of two years secretarial experience and knowledge of Health One system is an advantage, but not essential.

Good IT and communication skills are essential. Candidates should be available for holiday cover or any other eventualities. No weekends or bank holidays.

Ability to perform secretarial duties to a high standard. Scheduling appointments, answering telephone and directing calls appropriately, typing of letters and other reports, billing patients, scanning documents and reports whilst adhering to strict GDPR guidelines. Candidate also needs to work well under pressure.
