Envevo is helping deliver the infrastructure that supports Ireland's energy transition, transport networks and economic growth. As we continue to expand our presence across the market, we are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded leader to take ownership of our Ireland operation.

As Country Manager, you will be the senior leader for our Irish business, responsible for driving commercial performance, developing customer relationships, leading a high-performing team and ensuring operational excellence. Working closely with the Managing Director for Growth and the wider leadership team, you will play a key role in delivering our growth ambitions while building a business that customers choose to partner with and employees are proud to be part of.

This is an opportunity to shape the future of a growing business, influence strategic direction, and make a tangible impact in a market undergoing significant transformation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the ROI business plan, leading sales growth initiatives, supporting major tender submissions, developing strategic customer relationships, and ensuring the achievement of revenue, margin, and operational performance targets. Working closely with the wider Group leadership team, the Country Manager will play a key role in contributing to the overall success and profitability of the business.

The position is ideally suited to an ambitious leader with experience in electrical, infrastructure, energy, EV charging, engineering services, or related sectors, who can successfully combine technical expertise with strong commercial acumen.

Job requirements

Essential

  • Highly motivated individual with a strong engineering background and proven commercial capability.
  • Proven leadership experience within EV charging, electrical infrastructure, utilities, engineering services, energy, renewables or similar sectors.
  • Strong track record of delivering revenue growth and profitability.
  • Demonstrated experience in business development and key account management.
  • Experience influencing and contributing to major tender and bid submissions.
  • Strong commercial and financial management capability, including P&L responsibility.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to operate both strategically and operationally.
  • Strong understanding of the Irish infrastructure,energy or engineering market.

Desirable

  • Experience within EV charging infrastructure and associated technologies.
  • Knowledge of Irish public procurement processes.
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
  • Professional engineering membership or chartered status.
  • MBA or commercial qualification.

Job responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Translate Group growth ambitions into executable plans for the Irish market.
  • Identify and capitalise on new market opportunities across EV charging, electrical infrastructure, renewable energy and related sectors.
  • Build the company's market presence and reputation throughout Ireland.
  • Support the development and implementation of long-term growth plans.
  • Provide regular market intelligence and competitor analysis to the executive team.

Sales & Business Development

  • Drive significant revenue and margin growth across all areas of the business.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline and convert strategic opportunities into sustainable revenue growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, consultants, contractors,utilities and public sector bodies.
  • Identify,qualify and convert new business opportunities.
  • Lead strategic sales initiatives and key account management activities.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and framework contracts.
  • Deliver against agreed sales,profitability and growth targets.

Tender & Bid Management

  • Provide strategic input into major tender submissions and framework opportunities.
  • Review commercial,technical and contractual elements of bids.
  • Support bid qualification, pricing strategy and risk assessment.
  • Work closely with operational and commercial teams to produce competitive and profitable proposals.
  • Present tender solutions to prospective customers and stakeholders where required.

Financial & Commercial Performance

  • Assume full responsibility for the country's profit and loss performance.
  • Deliver annual revenue,EBITDA and margin targets.
  • Develop and manage budgets,forecasts and business plans.
  • Monitor project profitability and implement strategies to improve financial performance.
  • Ensure robust commercial governance and risk management practices are maintained.

Operational Oversight

  • Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure safe,efficient and profitable project delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement in productivity, customer satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with all Irish regulatory, health and safety, and industry requirements.
  • Support resource planning and workforce development initiatives.

Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, develop and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, collaboration and high-performance.
  • Lead through visibility,communication and engagement, ensuring employees understand the business vision and their role in delivering it.
  • Recruit, coach and mentor employees to support succession planning and organisational growth.
  • Champion Envevo's values, safety culture and customer focus.
  • Promote collaboration across functions and with wider Group businesses.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the senior leader and primary representative for the business in Ireland.
  • Develop relationships with industry bodies, government agencies,utilities and strategic partners.
  • Represent the business at industry events,conferences and networking forums.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Group leadership teams and support wider business initiatives
