About Crawford & Co.

Crawford & Co. is a vibrant, welcoming hospitality venue in the heart of Cork, known for quality, atmosphere, and great service. We pride ourselves on creating a place where guests feel looked after and where the team can take real pride in what they do.

We are now looking for an experienced and motivated Bar Manager to lead our bar operation and play a key role in maintaining the high standards our guests expect.

The Role

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves hospitality, takes pride in standards, and knows how to bring out the best in a team. You’ll be responsible for the smooth running of the bar, ensuring an excellent guest experience, strong team performance, and efficient day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the day-to-day running of the bar

- Support, train, and motivate the bar team

- Maintain excellent standards of service, presentation, and cleanliness

- Oversee stock control, and stock rotation

- Manage costs, wastage, and beverage profitability

- Ensure compliance with licensing, hygiene, and health & safety standards

- Assist with rota planning and team communication

- Handle guest queries and resolve issues professionally

- Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams

- Drive sales through product knowledge and guest engagement

- Maintain accurate records, cash handling, and reporting procedures

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

- An experienced bar manager or senior bar supervisor

- Passionate about hospitality and delivering great guest experiences

- A confident and supportive team leader

- Highly organised, calm under pressure, and solution-focused

- Strong on standards, consistency, and attention to detail

- Knowledgeable about drinks, service, and bar operations

- Professional, approachable, and committed to doing things well
