Experienced Chef: Goats Gruff

We’re looking for an experienced, professionally trained chef to join the kitchen team at Goats Gruff, working closely alongside our Head Chef.

This role would suit someone with a strong culinary background who is confident in a busy kitchen, has excellent standards and takes real pride in the food they put out.

Our Head Chef leads the kitchen, menu and systems, so we’re looking for someone who can work well alongside him; bringing experience, reliability and strong kitchen skills to the team while helping maintain consistency as the business grows.

What we’re looking for

  • A strong professional culinary background and solid experience in quality kitchens
  • Excellent cooking and preparation skills
  • Strong understanding of flavour, seasoning and ingredients
  • High standards around consistency, presentation and cleanliness
  • Comfortable working at pace during busy services
  • Organised and able to manage prep and service efficiently
  • Someone dependable who works well as part of a team
  • An interest in food and willingness to contribute ideas and develop with the kitchen
  • Experience with pizza, Italian food or wood-fired cooking is a bonus, but not essential

The role

You’ll work directly with our Head Chef across prep and service, helping deliver our existing menu to a consistently high standard while supporting the continued development of the kitchen.

We’re looking for someone who already has a strong foundation as a chef, this isn’t an entry-level position.

Full-time position
Competitive salary based on experience
Two days off per week
Opportunities to grow as Goats Gruff continues to develop

If you’re an experienced chef who enjoys working with good ingredients, a strong team and a busy service, we’d love to hear from you.

Send your CV and a little about your experience to apply.

Pay: €18.00-€19.00 per hour
