We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused Bar Staff to join our friendly team at a busy and vibrant community bar. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where no two shifts are the same. About the Role

As a member of our bar team, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining a welcoming, safe, and professional environment for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently.
  • Operate the till and process cash and card payments accurately.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the bar and customer areas.
  • Restock shelves, fridges, and bar supplies as required.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing, food safety, and health & safety regulations.
  • Work as part of a team during busy service periods, functions, and sporting events.
  • Help create a positive atmosphere for customers and colleagues alike.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Previous experience working in a bar, pub, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional attitude.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours.
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Knowledge of Cold/Cellar room operations

Desirable:

  • Cocktail or barista experience.
  • Manual Handling and HACCP certification.
  • Experience working at live events or sports venues.
