We are looking for a confident, personable Front of House Manager to lead the front of house team at this Irish hotel.

This is an opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who enjoys being visible on the floor, supporting colleagues and ensuring guests receive attentive, thoughtful service throughout their stay.

The role

You will oversee the day-to-day front of house operation, setting clear standards and helping your team deliver a smooth guest experience, from arrival to departure.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, motivating and developing the reception and front of house team.
  • Overseeing check-in, check-out and guest enquiries.
  • Handling guest feedback and resolving concerns with professionalism and care.
  • Working closely with housekeeping, reservations and other departments.
  • Managing rotas and ensuring appropriate staffing.
  • Maintaining accurate guest records and clear communication between shifts.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve service and personalise the guest experience.

About you

You will bring previous experience in a front office or front of house leadership role within a quality hotel, together with:

  • A warm, professional manner and a genuine commitment to guest service.
  • Strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
  • The ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Confidence using hotel property management systems.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
