My client, a well-established hospitality venue, is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Waiter to join their team on a full-time basis in East Clare

Position Overview
As the Waiter, you will be responsible for providing a friendly and efficient service to customers, taking food and beverage orders, serving customers and supporting the wider team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the venue.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working 5 days over 7, Monday to Sunday, across two shift patterns of 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM and 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, offering a pay rate of €15.00 per hour.

This role will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis. This is not an agency or short-term role. I am assisting my client in finding a suitable candidate to join their team directly.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a waiter, food & beverage or similar hospitality position
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience taking orders and serving food and beverages
  • Friendly, professional and approachable manner
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible availability Monday to Sunday across both shift patterns
  • Full right to work in Ireland

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming customers and providing friendly, professional service
  • Taking food and beverage orders accurately
  • Serving food and drinks efficiently
  • Setting, clearing and resetting tables
  • Ensuring customer areas are kept clean and presentable
  • Handling customer requests and queries
  • Working closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service
  • Following all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures
  • Supporting the wider team during busy periods
  • Assisting with opening and closing duties as required
