Job purpose:

The Team Member is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience for guests. You will work closely with the kitchen staff and management to deliver high-quality service and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant.

This role is for our Burger King restaurants at Dublin airport.

Contract: 40 hours per week, across 4 days - 11 hour shifts with 1 hour unpaid break

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly.
  • Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about food and drinks.
  • Serve food and beverages to customers, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Monitor tables and attend to guests' needs throughout their dining experience.
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and resolve issues as needed.
  • Process payments and manage cash transactions accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and workstations.
  • Assist with setting up and clearing tables, as well as restocking supplies.
  • Report all hazards and/or concerns immediately to the manager on duty.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service role is preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Basic math skills for handling payments and calculating bills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
